I adore blue skies, dry weather and heat. And that’s why I’m not complaining about the hour that most of us “lost” in the United States on Sunday morning due to the dreaded daylight saving time. It’s inconvenient, it disrupts our circadian rhythm, and it’s even a controversial news item (what isn’t controversial these days, right?) It’s also a subtle nudge that brighter days are ahead. As the sun lingers a bit longer each day, we find ourselves drawn outdoors, savoring simple pleasures and cherished moments with loved ones. This past weekend Jim and I took advantage of the break in the weather and took advantage of simple joys. We took the two dogs, Fen and Eddie, out for a romp in the Badlands wearing themselves out for a little bit. Then we got dressed and went out for mocktails with another couple, and met up with a group of friends for a delicious Thai meal right across from my office. Also, we worked in Family Kitchen, and we’ve been watching each of the Academy Award Best Picture nominated films. Amidst it all, we've been relishing family time, engaging in heartfelt conversations with the kids, and tackling projects around the house. Enjoying family. Enjoying Life. Oh, and I got new glasses—a small but delightful change. Alright, back to my original thought–even though my body is laboring to catch up with the lost hour, I’m celebrating all that it signals. It’s sunny and warm-ish as I write this, which is amazing considering how long the snow has been here in Oregon. All signs that spring is coming, and all sorts of things are awakening, and soon to bloom even.
And much as I'm embracing these transitional moments, I'm also mindful of the impact time has on our lives, both subtle and profound. As a relationship and sex coach, I specialize in guiding individuals and couples toward deeper intimacy and fulfillment. I help them with strategies tailored to reset the clock on their desire, passion, and intimacy, especially after a long, dormant, sexual winter. Here’s the link to book a complimentary, private consultation with me. It only takes a minute or two to find time on your calendar for a call. Maybe one or both of you are ready to take things to the next level. Let’s talk. Speaking of taking things to the next level. I have some professional news that I haven’t shared much about. I’m not only a clinically trained, board certified sexologist. I am now also a certified hypnotist! For several months last year, I trained with Erika Flint at Cascade Hypnosis Center in Bellingham WA, and logged hundreds of hours helping sweet humans with concerns about orgasm, ED, early ejaculation, sexual aversion, the desire to enjoy sexual activities that they’ve found very tough, and more. Hypnosis is a powerful modality that I’m now offering to select couples and individuals seeking to address issues like low desire or sexual aversion. If you're intrigued, let's chat during a complimentary consultation to explore whether hypnosis could be right for you. Thank you for allowing me to share these exciting updates with you. Remember, no matter where you are on your journey, I'm here to support and empower you. Sending love, Dr. Jane PS: Sometimes it feels impossible to get started on your connection again, but once things are flowing, you feel a lot better. I’m here for you. As of right now, I have a few spots open in The Quickie, a personalized four-week journey to revitalizing your intimacy, whether in person or online. Interested? Check out the. Details here. PSS: If you’re eager to learn more about hypnosis, simply reply to this email with the word YES, and I'll provide a deeper dive in an upcoming newsletter.
